A number of junior high and senior high Outreach students will be taking part in a Resistance Poetry video-conference on Wednesday, December 16. This exciting video-conference will connect our students with several young poets from a variety of settings around the world to discuss the significance of resistance art and poetry in the context of conflict. Participants will explore how the visual arts and poetry have been used as a means of witnessing conflict experience and also what can be accomplished by artists who produce pieces that witness conflict and oppression.
